Robert Raff was appointed in March, 2017 as Vice President and General Manager for Nexstar Broadcasting managing KSNT-TV (NBC), KTMJ-TV (FOX) and associated digital services serving Topeka, Kansas. Robert also oversees Nexstar’s relationship with Vaughan Media’s KTKA-TV (ABC) and MTKA-TV (CW) under a joint operating agreement.

Robert has over 36 years of broadcasting experience with expertise in station and sales management, local news programming, digital content development and strategic planning across multiple media platforms. Prior to his recent move to Kansas, Robert served as Vice President and General Manager of the former WFXS-TV (FOX) in Wausau, Wisconsin for 16 years.  While in Wisconsin, Robert also was appointed to oversee the financial and operational management of the company’s second FOX-affiliated station, WVFX-TV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Prior to his tenure in Wausau, Mr. Raff built and served as General Manager of KTMJ-TV, Topeka’s local FOX affiliate for 14 years

Robert is currently serving on the board and executive board of the Jayhawk Area Council BSA, the TARC Foundation Board and is assisting the Capper Foundation with current and future marketing projects. Robert is a proud Rotarian and is heavily involved in programs that provide shoes and coats to underprivileged children in the Topeka Public School District. Previous community service includes the Samoset Council BSA, board member of the Northcentral Technical College Foundation, governance chair of the Wausau Global Leadership Academy STEM Charter School.
